Certain user log in the sharepoint and can’t see the people picker control but this message instead “The control is not available because you do not have the correct permissions”
Solution: Make sure the user have right to view the membership of the group. You can change this by going to group settings to change “Who can view membership” from “Member Only” to “Every one”.If no group is used in the people picker selection, Make sure user has right to view the general user information. Verify this is checked on permission level.
“Browse User Information – View information about users of the Web site. “
Okay, so where do I "Verify this is checked on permisssion level."?
ReplyDeleteSite Permissions > Permission Levels > click the level your user has > review the list > make sure "Browse User Information – View information about users of the Web site" is checked
